Leaving Kalentzi behind we head toward the Elliniko settlement and the Tsouka Monastery. The view from the Monastery is enjoyed on the brim of the Arachthos gorge and is something beyond magical. The Monastery is accompanied by an interesting folk tradition associated with its foundation in 1200 approximately, its thereafter destruction, and consequent re-construction in the late 17th century under the protection of Halil Bey.
