The Bridge of Kouiasa

The bridge is located in Kouiasa and is specifically grounded in a rock. It connects the banks of the raging Chrousia River, which is also a stream of the Arachthos River. The bridge’s builders are unfortunately unknown although we understand that the benefactors that contributed to its reconstruction were a few wealthy residents from the Kalarrytes settlement. The bridge dates back to the 1800s. It’s a one-arched bridge with a friendly arched access. It lies near the road that ascends towards Kalarrytes. Here we leave the car behind and follow a distinct foot path. Near the bridge we can see the restored water mill.
